Babacar Ndiaye

Background

Babacar Ndiaye is the managing partner and founder of YMF Audit & Advisory. A chartered accountant (DECOFI) registered with ONECCA, he brings over thirty-five years of experience in finance, audit, accounting and public financial management, in Senegal and internationally.

Before founding the firm, he served for more than ten years as Director of Finance, Financial Reporting and Grants at the ECOWAS Commission in Abuja, where he led the SAP implementation and the institution's first IPSAS-compliant financial statements. He also headed the finances of CODESRIA, GIABA and ARTP, and lectured on international accounting standards across the region.

Holding the CPA, PMP® and ASM® certifications as well as IFRS and IPSAS credentials, he brings this dual culture of numbers and project delivery to every engagement.
